Roxana Marcoci is Senior Curator of Photography at The Museum of Modern Art, New York. She holds a PhD in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU. Her recent exhibitions include Louise Lawler: WHY PICTURES NOW (2017); Zoe Leonard: Analogue (2015); Christopher Williams: The Production Line of Happiness(2014); and The Shaping of New Visions: Photography, Film, Photobook (2012). Marcoci is co-editor and contributing author to the three-volume Photography at MoMA series, and to Art and Theory of Post-1989 Central and Eastern Europe: A Critical Anthology (2018). She is also teaching at Yale University and preparing a Wolfgang Tillmans exhibition at MoMA (2021).
