Olivier Lugon is a photo historian, professor at the University of Lausanne. Specialist of the 20th century photography and history of exhibition design and projection, he currently directs the research projects “Photography and Exhibition in Switzerland, 1920-1970” and “All World Culture on a Film: rise and fantasy of microfilm from the 1920s to the 1950s”. In 2017, he was a curator of the exhibition “Slide: History of projected photography” at the Musée de l’Élysée, in Lausanne. With Christian Joschke, he directs the magazine Transbordeur: photography, history, society, launched at Macula in 2017.
