Kevin Moore is an independent curator and writer based in New York. His work focuses on the history of photography, film/video, and contemporary art. He earned a Ph.D. in art history in 2002 from Princeton University and has worked in curatorial departments at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University. He is the Curator of the McEvoy Collection, San Francisco, and, since 2013, the Artistic Director and Curator of FotoFocus, Cincinnati. In 2018, he curated and published OldParis and Changing New York: Photographs by Eugène Atget and Berenice Abbott, and Mamma Andersson: Memory Banks.
