Tyler Mitchell is an Atlanta born, Brooklyn based photographer and filmmaker working across many genres to evoke narratives about blackness and beauty. He made history as the first black photographer to shoot the cover of American Vogue, for Beyoncé’s appearance in the September 2018 issue. In 2019, he had his first solo museum exhibition titled I Can Make You Feel Good at Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam. In the past Mitchell has worked with publications such as Teen Vogue, The Guardian, and i-D, and brands such as Prada, Calvin Klein, and Marc Jacobs.
