Irène Jonas is a sociologist and an independant photographer. She published different essays in visual sociology and a book on family photography Mort de la photo de famille? De l’argentique au numérique (L’Harmattan, 2010). She has just completed for the SAIF and the SCAM a study called « Crise du journalisme et santé des photographes » which have been presented in 2019 at Visa pour l’Image. In addition of her research in sociology, she still works in photography. Represented by l’agence révélateur, her work are displayed in galery and festivals. Arnaud Bizalion Editeur has published her book Dormir, dit-elle.
