Fannie Escoulen


AUDITORIUM - LEVEL 1

Fannie Escoulen (b.1978) is an independent curator, specializing in contemporary photography. She is graduated from the National School of Photography in Arles in 2000. Deputy Director of LE BAL in Paris from 2007 to 2014, she was recently exhibition curator for Antoine d'Agata, Stéphane Duroy at the BAL, Kate Barry at the Rencontres d’Arles and Anne-Maire Filaire au Mucem. In 2018, she was chosen by the Ministère de la Culture to organize and present a programme about women and photography at Paris Photo. She carries out advisory missions for companies and photography sponsors and regularly collaborates with publishing houses on photographic projects. In 2020, she will be curator for a major exhibition dedicated to the artist Laurence Aëgerter at the Petit Palais, Paris.
