French English subtitles It is said that with the Americans, Robert Frank produced a book which looks like a movie. Un voyage Américain, the documentary that Philippe Séclier filmed following the steps of Robert Frank between 2005 and 2008, is to be seen as a adventure book. Fifty years after the publication of this book-manifesto, first pusblished in France in 1958 by Robert Delpire, and the following year in the USA, Séclier tells us an 20 000km odyssey, oscillating between past and present, fix and moving image, two America only separated by time.
