the son of Lars Fredrikson, was born in Antibes,
France in 1970.
Influenced by his father's teaching, he became interested in music and sound production at a very young age. Fredrikson's research centres on music and traditional instruments through the different approaches of cultures from around the world. His visits to local populations in areas including Africa, Mexico, Lapland, and Indonesia, where he learned about a dying body of knowledge, gave him an anthropological and sociological vision of the musical experience. In 1993, he created the "Par le Pouvoir de l'Elan" exhibition in Apt, France, using instruments he created. He also organised workshops for deaf and autistic children. Since his father’s death he has also been in charge of the Lars Fredrikson Estate and passing on his artistic heritage.
